Brian O’Kennedy is CEO of Clearstream Solutions, a leading independent carbon management and corporate sustainability consultancy which he founded in 2009. Brian has over 20 years’ leadership experience in global supply chain management and procurement, particularly in the areas of IT, Media, Print and Packaging. Brian has served as Chair of the CDP Ireland Network, the global carbon reporting program, and is also a member of Steering Committee of the global Responsible Sourcing standard, Verego SRS. He has a degree in Economics from Trinity College, a Certificate in Sustainable Management from BSI Group and is currently studying the Circular Economy at TU Delft.

Gavin Whitaker is Consulting Director at Clearstream Solutions and has held key senior management roles in Marketing, Sales and Operations over the past 20 years. He has trained as a Carbon Consultant according to the ISO 14064 Standard and has extensive experience in organizational carbon footprinting. Gavin has a BA from UCC in Economics & Sociology, a MA in Marketing from University of Ulster, has studied International Business in Harvard University, CSA ISO 14064-1 Measuring an Organisations Carbon Footprint and CSA ISO 14064 -2 Reducing an Organisations Environmental Impact.
Che McGann
Sustainability Strategy & Reporting Manager
Ché is an bio-medical engineer by training and has worked for global medical device manufacturers as a process improvement engineer. Following a passion for sustainability, she completed an MSc in Sustainable Development at TU Dublin, and now works with organisations on their corporate sustainability strategy & reporting projects. She has previously worked for Sustainable Nation Ireland, Boston Scientific, Fisher and Paykel Healthcare, and FT Technologies UK.
Grainne McIvor
Climate Change & Responsible Business Manager
Gráinne is an Environmental Science graduate with both research and practical experience in organisational carbon footprinting. Following graduation, she was employed in Dublin City University’s Sustainability Office to assist in university management of emissions, waste, water, transport and biodiversity. DCU became the first university globally to submit to CDP’s climate change programme during her time there. She holds 3-002-RA: Verification of Greenhouse Gas Statements (Reasonable Assurance) certification. .
Dr Leigh Holloway
Packaging, LCA & Resource Specialist
Leigh Holloway has over 25 years’ experience in the field of LCA, sustainable product design and the circular economy. He has worked in academia, business support and commercial consultancy across many different industry sectors including packaging, FMCG, food & drink and ICT. Delivering carbon foot printing studies, sustainable design projects and developing bespoke calculation tools.
Leigh has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD in Ecodesign. He is a fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining and an associate member of the Foodservice Packaging Association.
Declan Bogan
Sustainability Strategy, Engagement & Training
Declan is our strategy & innovation specialist. He has worked with over 75+ organisations on innovation, systems and design thinking across product, people, portfolio and business model proposition elements over the last 20 years. He has also mentored and coached many start-ups on their business proposition evolution, all with a sustainability/climate focus. He holds a degree in Analytical Science and a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Dublin City University. .
Caroline Moran
Climate Change & Responsible Business Manager
Caroline holds an MSc in Climate Change: Policy, Media and Society from Dublin City University and a BSc in Social Science from University College Dublin. Since completing her studies, she has worked at the DCU Sustainability Office on climate research projects and sustainability initiatives such as the DCU Climate Action Plan and DCU Carbon Footprinting. She has collaborated on projects with multiple higher education institutes on sustainability projects, both in Ireland and abroad, and also on initiatives with the Climate Action Regional Offices (CAROs).
Laura Grimes
Sustainability and Data Analysis associate
Laura is an Environmental Science and Technology Graduate from Dublin City University. After graduating, she returned to DCU’s School of Chemical Sciences to continue research on portable microfluidic platforms for herbicide analysis, and evaluation of the environmental impact of 3D printing. She has also spent time operating the environmental lab for Astellas Ireland and is currently up-skilling in data analytics with NCI.
Dylan Kirby
ESG and Climate Reporting Associate
Dylan completed his level 8 degree in Accounting and Finance, with the Technological University of Dublin, in 2020. He is currently completing his Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Sustainable Finance and Reporting. Alongside his studies, Dylan has worked within the Irish financial sector as a Finance Officer for a Dublin based credit union.
Ellen Killeen
Climate and Sustainability Associate
Ellen completed her BA Sociology, Politics and English in NUIG before gaining her MSc in Climate Change: Policy, Media and Society from DCU. During her MSc, Ellen covered a wide array of topics such as governance, communications, and domestic and EU climate change law. As part of her MSc Ellen undertook an independently researched and written project exploring sustainability within large scale events in Ireland. Throughout her studies, Ellen has worked in the health food and natural beauty sector, gaining a strong inside knowledge of the market.

Aoife graduated from Dublin City University with a MEng in Sustainable Energy & Systems and a bachelor’s in Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering, with experience in the metrology industry. She holds the belief that sustainability is the future for all industries with a passion for biodiversity.

Bernardo is an Industrial Engineer with experience working as a Quality Control Analyst and as a Health, Safety and Environment Supervisor for a brewery in Bolivia. Pursuing a career in sustainability, he completed a MSc in Sustainable Energies and Green Technologies at University College Dublin. He has experience in life-cycle analysis, circular economy principles and renewable energy systems design.

Eimear has 16 years experience across the financial services and energy sectors. Having worked with many large businesses across all sectors on the successful implementation of business plans and energy services projects, she is solutions focussed and customer oriented. Among other qualifications, Eimear holds an MA in Strategy from Smurfit, a Business degree from Trinity and following her passion for sustainable business she went on to study Sustainable Leadership for Business at TU Dublin.

Khrystyna holds an MSc in Environmental Engineering from Kharkiv National University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (Ukraine) and graduated from Environmental Project Management Program from SIDA (Sweeden). Khrystyna has worked on climate change problems developing climate policies, raising awareness, and implementing sustainability and circularity practices in business projects.
