What is Verego SRS Certification?
Created in 2010, the Verego Social Responsibility Standard (SRS) was developed in harmony with other world renowned standards like the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the UN Global Compact by standards setting experts, experienced procurement specialists, and corporate social responsibility practitioners to become the world’s only, full-scope certifiable CSR standard that can be applied to the unique operating context of nearly any organisation or supply chain.
Verego SRS evaluates, prioritises and provides best practice guidance on corporate social responsibility. It assesses performance and measurable impact across five core areas:
- Leadership – Governance, strategy, and stakeholder engagement
- Ethics – Integrity, compliance, and transparency
- People – Employee well-being, development, and inclusion
- Community – Social impact, local engagement, and philanthropy
- Environment – Resource use, emissions, and sustainability initiatives
