Environmental Product Declaration

Provide transparent and verified information about the environmental impact of a product throughout its life cycle.

What is an Environmental Product Declaration?

An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is a standardised document that offers precise information regarding a product’s environmental performance of a product. It encompasses various environmental performance indicators such as; Global warming potential (GWP), Acidification Potential (AP), Eutrophication Potential (EP) and Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP).

An EPD is normally provided by the product manufacturer, and it is subject to third party verification process. An EPD normally has a validity of 5 years.

EPDs can be created for either a specific product of a company or for the average product of a manufacturer with multiple plants.  To find out more on EPD’s click here.
